The Studio

The Studio

Highwood Studio is located in Newbury in West Berkshire. It was originally used as a 'Cart Shed' for storing animal feed transportation and machinery. The original timbers are probably 300 years old, and most of the structure has been retained. Recent work has been undertaken using Green Oak.

The Studio is self contained and is connected to a cottage next door, where refreshments and drinks are available during workshops and events.

Inside The Studio the ambiance is relaxed warm and cozy, and power points are available for sewing machines.

The Studio was Launched on November 18th 2007 , and over 80 people visited the event. We hosted a quilt and embroidery exhibition, and Antique Angel and June Withers were vendors for the day.
